These terms apply when you download or play the mobile game Dead End: Escape (the "Game"). By playing the Game you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.
1. The Game
The Game is free to download and play. You may use it for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. We may add, change or remove levels, mini-games, characters, events, the battle pass and other features at any time, for example to fix problems or improve the Game.
2. Age
The Game is not directed at children under 13. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please play only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
3. Virtual items
Coins, stars, survivors, skins, styles, pets, dances, music tracks, battle pass rewards and other in-game items ("Virtual Items") exist only inside the Game. They have no real-money value, cannot be exchanged for money or anything outside the Game, and cannot be sold, traded or transferred. You receive a limited, personal licence to use them in the Game; you do not own them. Rewards you earn are kept, and the Game does not offer any paid random rewards or gambling.
We may rebalance or retire Virtual Items. When we retire an item you obtained with coins, we aim to give you a fair in-game refund, as we did in previous updates.
4. Ads and rewards
The Game shows ads provided by Google AdMob. Some rewards (such as extra coins, hints, spins or battle pass progress) are given for watching an optional ad. A reward is only given when the ad is fully watched, and the availability of ads is not guaranteed. Daily limits may apply.
5. Leaderboards and fair play
The Game has public leaderboards. Your leaderboard name is your Google Play Games name, or an automatic name such as "Survivor1A2B" if you are not signed in. You agree not to:
- cheat, use bots, hacks, modified versions of the Game or any other way to get scores or items you did not earn;
- use offensive, hateful or misleading names, or names that pretend to be someone else;
- attack, overload or try to access the Game's servers or other players' data;
- copy, decompile, resell or redistribute the Game or its content.
We may remove scores or names from the leaderboards, reset progress gained by cheating, or block access to online features for players who break these rules.
6. Your progress
Your progress is saved on your device and, if you sign in with Google Play Games, in your Google cloud save. We are not able to restore progress that is lost, for example after uninstalling the Game without being signed in, clearing app data or losing your device.
7. Community links
The Game may link to our Discord community and other services run by third parties. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Ownership
The Game and all of its content (code, art, characters, music, sounds and text) belong to the developer or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Google Play, Google Play Games, AdMob and Firebase are trademarks of Google LLC.
9. No warranty
The Game is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it fun and working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or compatible with every device. Online features (leaderboards, news, events, cloud save) depend on internet access and third-party services.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of Virtual Items or progress, arising from your use of the Game. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under the law of your country.
11. Ending use
You can stop using the Game at any time by uninstalling it. We may stop offering the Game or any of its features, with notice in the Game or on its store page where reasonably possible.

How the Game handles information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this address, with the date at the top. If you keep playing after a change, the updated terms apply.
